I have to tell you for the last 30 minutes I have just cried!! You captured EVERYTHING I could have ever wanted! It was a perfect day! God has blessed you with an incredible talent, and I am so thankful you recorded a moment of our lives that won't ever be lost!

I LOVE so many of the ones of our girls. They do share such a special bond. I really think my favorite (right now) is the one of them in the dress looking down. It really made me tear up!! They have just grown TOO fast. I wish I would have found you sooner to do pictures like these, but am grateful to have found you now!

Samantha Grace

This is Samantha Grace. She is daddy's little darling. Samantha is the first 4 month old that I remember taking a picture standing up. She thinks she's too big to lay down already. She's 4 months going on 14. But you look at her sleeping picture and she looks the 4 months. Heather and I were talking and Eddie was holding her and Heather said Samantha was sleepy and when she went to sleep that she would put her little hands up behind her head. You know how they never do what you say they will, but I kid you not she went to wiggling around and put her hands up by her head and Eddie laid her down and it's like she comforts herself with her hands. What a great blessing, wish my kids had done that. She took a little cat nap, looked up at me and grinned. Sweet baby girl...Eddie and Heather enjoy every little thing right now because they grow so fast.

RiLeigh King

A beautiful little angel! I belive little RiLeigh wins the most photographed award, she has already had a Newborn session, 3 month session and 2 extended family sessions. They are going to run out of wall space real fast! She's always happy. I haven't seen that much hair on an newborn baby in a long time.

The Lacroix Family

Jason and Codie have the sweetest little family. It was like heaven on earth this day. Everything came to together like magic. This family is so full of love. While I was taking Little Lily Jane's picture Gracie the older little girl just sighed like a little mother and said" Oh Lily you are so beautiful. I was amazed at the emotion in this little girls voice. There is truely something special about this little family.

The Green Family

This is one of my favorite "brothers" images.
This is A.G and Stacey Green and their boys Auden and Braden. This is a family that I have taken portraits of for several years. I have even had the chance to take their extended family portraits last year. Brad flew in just for me to take his picture (wink) It's amazing when taking a family's pictures that you learn so much about them and that each persons family means the world to them. These boys have grown up around me and makes my job taking their pictures a whole lot easier. The women of this family are a lot like me. We love to preserve their family's history and I haven't found anyone to top them yet. We have taken these boys pictures with their momma's and grandma's tricycles in front of their great grandmaw's wash house...Now how many of you still have your tricycles??? Everytime I drive to their home for pictures I remember I have to drive to the end of the world, then just a little bit farther...(they know they have to watch out for me.)

The Aplin Family

This was a beautiful fall day and a beautiful family. Two cotton top little boys. And for those of you that know Conner...Taking his picture is like nailing Jello to a tree. He loves his little brother Caden, it was so sweet he would just lean over and kiss him on the cheek. Robin and Jason, thanks for letting me share these precious times in your lives...

Merry Christmas

Ayden's First Snow

It's times like these that I feel so blessed to be a photographer. To be able to capture my family in a way that we will treasure the rest of our lives. I want to thank my family for humoring me my odd request. I rolled them out off bed bright and early for these pictures,(I have the best daughter-in-law) a rare snow in Louisiana and Aydens first snow. You can see the Joy on Ayden's face. He told me Maw Maw I don't want to take pictures (I hear this all the time now) I just want to play in the snow. So the whole family worked fast and furious to please me and Ayden.

So Shy

A timeless image that I have named So Shy. This was the first time I have photographed Dawn and John's family. I have known Dawn her whole life. This was taken at the beginning of the session when Kara was painfully shy. That didn't last long. I will post more images from thier session soon.

For everyone wondering if I have ran off. I did but I am back! I have been with my sister in at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport. She had a major surgery (Aneurysm on her brain) but doing well. Thanks for all the prayers and calls (and facebook comments). It's great to know when you are down that you are not alone.

I have just given out my last slideshow and starting back on reorders and card design. Hope to get everyones cards out in the next few days.

Snow????

The forcast is... snow! Can you believe it. How long has it been since we've had snow in Central Louisiana. Little Emma makes the cutest snow bunny doesn't she. And those eyes...

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone. Just wanted to let everyone know what I am up to. I have been shooting constantly for the last month and half. The busiest year I've had to date. Finally have everyones photos taken and now the processing. I have about 12 more sessions to get out, then I will be back doing orders. Please make sure your payment is included with your order. If it isn't this will slow down your order as I do not place orders until they have be paid for.

I will design everyones cards first. I will call you to let you know I have sent a sample to your email, please check that as soon as you can, and get back to me with the changes or let me know when it is ready to order. Please check that all spelling correct (I'm not too good in that area, should have paid more attention in school:) so I can get that ordered. Please note all cards and christmas gifts so I will be sure to have that in, in time for Christmas.

About mid December I hope to put some of my cards on line. Please be sure and send me permission by email or a note with your order.

Carter

A sweet baby boy! I have been keeping up with Carter on facebook and I can tell that he is filling out already. He is serious about his "groceries". Look at his little belly on the last image. He's already up to 10 pounds. He has a fine sprinkling of blond hair across his forehead and I am curious to see if he turns really blond.
